The Boardings were started for the poor girls of the villages, owing to the pressure from the parents and the request of the province.
The aim of the Boardings
To form good Christians and honest citizens. This is achieved through instruction and care both in the school and boarding.
The socio-cultural background and lack of interest of the parents in caring for their own children.

Hostel for Working Women
The Hostel was started in 1954. It has its scope - the salvation of young working girls and students who, for want of proper shelter were exposed to so many dangers. The hostel offers them such a home, a place of moral security, linked with maternal and sisterly affection.
Aim
To offer a Catholic Home to young girls who on account of their studies or employment are obliged to live away from home. The centres offers to the inmates a homely and serene surrounding with the motherly assistance of the Salesian sisters whose aim is to respond to the inmates who are far off from their dear ones.
