Dearest Sisters,
|
|
God promised at the birth of Christ that men of goodwill shall have peace and that those who live their lives according to his holy will, shall receive salvation in Christ. God never goes back on his promises. So with the same promises of Christ to each one of us let us begin the new scholastic year all together of one mind and heart to fulfill the plans He has in store for us . So it matters little, the place where we may be, the members not whom we may live with, the responsibilities we share, it has been drawn out in the mind of the Divine Architect, therefore there is nothing to be feared. Let’s start off with great joy and enthusiasm in the Lord trusting in His promises that never fail.
Please do convey my greetings to all the dear collaborators in our premises who will be united with us in fulfilling the salvific mission God has entrusted to them and to each one of us.
Congratulations! for the very good results obtained in all our institutions. The percentage of results, speaks of the hard work put in on the part of the Sisters, Staff and students. Let us encourage them to go on even more successfully in their academic field.
Sr. Soosai Magnificat and her community members deserve a special word of appreciation and thanks for the spiritual and material preparation rendered to those who made their first Profession and more so for having facilitated the intense preparation in view of the Final Commitment which concluded with a grand finale at St. Mary’s Cathedral-Trichy in the presence of the Bishop Trichy, Priests, Religious, parents and well-wishers who made it more meaningful with their joyful participation. Thanks to the Sisters and to the Divine Master and Artist who was behind it all.
Sr.Anthonyswamy Suganthi and the community of Vadakku Paganoor and the many other sisters who volunteered did a wonderful job in all aspects to make the celebration colorful, happy and meaningful which would have been impossible but for the great sacrifices put in.
The successful Final Commitment was preceded by lots of efforts and contribution made by Sr.Mathew Siriapushpam, the animators of the various communities and other sisters during the Second Novitiate and all through the years of initial formation.

R.I.P.: By now you must have received the news of the demise of our dear and Rev. Fr. Manjil Ittyachen Sdb of holy memory. While we thank God for the great gift He had given to the Church and the Salesian Congregation in the person of Father, let us remember to pray for the repose of his soul, that God in His bounty and goodness may receive him as quickly as His mercy permits to enjoy the beatific vision. Heartfelt condolences to our dear brother Salesians, and in a special manner to our beloved sister, Sr. Mary Manjil who will surely feel his absence more than ever.

Feast of Sts. Peter and Paul
This feast is dear to all Catholics especially to us the Salesian family, when we remember our dear Roman Pontiff, Pope Benedict the XVI in a very special way for his many intentions and that of our Holy Mother the Church. Let us inculcate a tender love for the Holy Father in the hearts of our youngsters and co-workers. God bless our Pope, the great the good!

Our dear Mother Mazzarello exhorts us as follows: “Pray always and from the depth of your heart. Always remember that prayer is the key that opens the treasures of Heaven.” ( Letter # 51.)
